Note on blog comments

As is typical for a low-traffic site such as this one, comments don’t get posted very often. Still, for some reason I seem to get quite a bit of comment spam from time to time, and have had to enable moderation of comments in order to prevent it from appearing.

Because of this, comments left here unfortunately won’t appear right away. I try to check for comments at least once a day, but sometimes the notification email slips past for a while. Please forgive the delay in getting your comments posted.

Also, while I’m on the subject. No matter how worthwhile the comment, it will be deleted if it contains language not suitable for all ages.

Chris, I love the effort you have gone to in documenting your progress. I’m impressed, not only at your web, but also at your efforts to convert your truck.

I would however, make just one small comment. Please don’t take it wrong, because I like your process. I would just suggest that you make sure the dates on your camera are correct because it makes your documentation of progress off.

Sorry, I’m a little anal.

Jeff

You’re totally right; my camera (an old Canon Powershot G1 that I paid a lot for back when 3.3 megapixels was cool) forgets the date from time to time. I think there’s a firmware patch available for it, but I’ve been too lazy to find and apply it. I decided some time ago that I didn’t care for my personal pictures, but now for the website I really need to do it right.

The more recent shots should have correct timestamps.
