This is the Ohmbre project status page. I’ll be editing this page every week or so, so it should be an accurate quick summary of where I am on the project at any given time, and what’s left to be done.

As of 2008.01.06:

Passenger side frame section spliced in. Braces moved to driver side, section cut and new piece being edited at the ends for fit. Very slight error detected in weld attachment on passenger side, will require minor shimming under bed. Driver side will be welded in place to match, to prevent any problems with distortion.  So far measurements with a rotary laser show fairly good accuracy; will need to bridge a small gap on the driver side but not enough to create a problem.
